Hello. I have chronic hepatitis B (it was discovered 5 years ago), HBsAg +, slightly elevated AST and amylase. Ultrasound showed that the liver is not enlarged. HBV DNA was not found. Nopereodicheski having discomfort in the right upper quadrant: as if there is something interferes. The doctor said that treatment is needed. Is he right? And why is this discomfort in the right upper quadrant? Thanks in advance.
